Jewish International Film Festival Thursday 18th February to Wednesday 3rd March at Luna Cinemas, Leederville
Showcasing the best new Jewish-themed and Israeli cinema, the Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) celebrates the diversity of the Jewish experience across the globe. Across 10 days, JIFF presents a carefully-programmed selection of Australian Premiere documentaries, feature films and series fresh from world-class film festivals.
Cinema serves as a salve, an inspiration, and, if we need it to be, a distraction when times are rough. We hope our collection of films can do this for you in this unprecedented time. We look forward to coming together and celebrating the magic of JIFF with you later in the year.
Jewish International Film Festival Program Launch, Luna Leederville, Sunday, January 17, at 4.00 pm with When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit (Als Hitler das rosa Kaninchen Stahl) by Caroline Link Oscar-winning director of Nowhere in Africa and the international bestseller by Judith Kerr. (In German, Swiss-German, French and English, with subtitles.)
People attending will have a chance to be the first to see and access the JIFF program brochure, watch trailers of films featured in the festival as well as purchase festival tickets.
